Summer. Poem by lacey smith

Summer.

Playfull splashes of water,
giggles of sweet children
Laughter in the air
Of a warm joyful summer.

The bees buzzing in the air, swarming past for their lunch of sweet honey.
People stealing their hardwork as they tuck in to cool honey tea.
Beauty of a summers day, catches your breath.
Watching the sunset, clasping hands with hungry lust bound fingertips.

Waterfalls flowing, as families swim,
admiring the beauty of colourfull butterflies.
Birds chirping lovingly.
On a picturesque summers day.

Gentle banter occures,
Sharing hopes and futures to dreams of days like these,
gentle whispers of secret lovers,
kisses hidden beneath the bright green leaves.
A park of laughter, A park of love.
On a hot summers day.
