Summer Lullaby Poem by Micron Jan

Summer Lullaby

Golden sun drifts high and slow,
Warm winds through the branches blow.
Flowers open, bright and wide,
Petals glow on every side.
Trees hum softly in the heat,
Summer sings a gentle beat.

Bees buzz low in scented air,
Butterflies dance everywhere.
Shadows stretch on grass so green,
Sunlight sparkles in between.
Streams run clear beneath the sky,
Whispering as they wander by.

Evening falls, the sun dips low,
Warmth still lingers, soft and slow.
Butterflies drift in twilight's tune,
Flowers sway beneath the moon.
Close your eyes, the day is done,
Summer rests beneath the sun.
