Summer Violet Poem by Eddi Hong

Summer Violet

The autumn came as you did.
So suddenly.
Reminiscing on how you spoke to me.
The way you heard my stories, quietly.
And those silence that we embraced.

There were times when I couldn't embrace you better.
There were times joy tore apart.
There were times that we smiled with the universe.
And finally, times drove us apart.

Tears.
Been ages since I shed some.
Watching you walked by,
and flew high into the sky.
I shed more than I can handle at that time.

The ice-cream tasted luxurious,
When I had it with you.
Under the stifling roof tile.
Watching your tender smile.

Here comes the time to depart.
After living the days.
With your warmth touch that still left.
On my bodies parts.

The violet roses,
will bloom beautifully.
Your strength that you left in me,
make me brave to embrace my future prettily.
