Summertime Poem by Christina Shischell

Summertime

Summer heat
In summer love
Rattling our souls
Racketing in our ears endlessly
Until the sun grew so large
That it burned it all up.
The clouds rolled in
And the summer rain began
Dampened the brightest of dreams
Now I'm waiting for the summer air again..
