Sun King, Sun God Poem by james watkin

Sun King, Sun God

With one's eye is drawn
Horizon-fine
Of their blithe dominions
The dividing line.

Plain fabrics are rolled
Under Louis' stride.
While Nature's own hallowing
Those floraled hide.

When buglers are birds
And usher, planet
Beckons lightfoot Ra
This dewy carpet.
