Sun Without Setting Poem by Felix Wightman

Sun Without Setting

Rating: 5.0

Unnatural light

giving children fright

as hunger takes its bight

and the father sits tight

friendly darkness, unfriendly neighbour

convincing each other of their labour

Praise the North, despise the South

Everything done with an empty mouth

nothing to envy, everything to fear

as the officer prowls with his watchful ear

The beginning is close, the end is far

Freedom is waiting, to heal this scar

Freedom is waiting, to heal this scar. Freedom will heal minds of many filling new light. Fright will go far and light will definitely smile. An amazing poem is shared on sympathy and freedom. Welcome to PoemHunter.....10
