Sunrise By Differing Increment Differentials Poem by Terence George Craddock

Sunrise By Differing Increment Differentials

there are variant time differentials
written into time space in mountains
where dawn light day break differs

due to imposing mountain peaks
ridgelines blocking light leaving
night areas beneath blocked lightless

areas of great black shadows
lightless wait longer to receive
new days delayed daily sunrise

time depending
on light height blocked
by surrounding

mountains
local knowledge
awaits sunrise

fast gathers stores
local knowledge in
sun climbing time

sky heights climbing
to gift dawn light rays
delayed dawn spaces
