Sunset Goodbye - Poem by Sherif Monem

The sunset signals us goodbye
As a long day is coming to close
The blazing bright sun soon will depart
The sun sinks slowly beyond the horizon
The sun orange disk disappears
The forces of night dominate
As the darkness invade the shy sky
A mysterious feeling spreads around
The chill of the night flirts around
The sun leaves us with heavy heart
Wishing we have a peaceful night
Feeling pity for us
For our struggle in life
Soon the moon will come and shine
Giving company to the lonely souls
The silver stars will scatter like beads
Thrown in the vast sky
In wonderful master display
In universe full of enigma
Surrounded by mystery
