Sunsets are beautiful
they signal the end, but herald the beginning of all that is
beautiful
Wounded hearts sometimes close out all the beauty of a sunrise
Emotions rioting
The sunset often has dark shades to it
But the eye is riveted to the dark
Fear makes the feet immobile
And the beauty is suffocated by the dark within, and the dark on
the outside
The signs are there, say goodbye to all that used to be
Open your heart to the dawn
Prepare for the planting
Set your heart on greater things
Take my hand and let's crawl back to love
Crawl back to life, just like a phoenix.
