Sunshine Poem by Meghan

Sunshine

Rating: 5.0

a willow weeps in the glowing dawn
a baby moose and a placid fawn
have all slipped away into yesterday's gone
the sun once shone on dewey flowers
sparkling away in such pleasant hours
like dust in the wind
it's all lost again
but never will a creature forget
that when the sun sets
it will be back in the early wake of the morning to spread harmonious rays to flood the sky
silent birds with crying eyes
create the rainbows we idolize
peace and joy soar on golden rays into the sky
everything casts a shadow in the soothing days of july

this was terrific, Meghan! Sparkling writing. I love how you opened up & kept the momentum thruout. You stepped out of the darkness, here, and let your mind's eye see another side. Keeping/maintaining the wary feel of someone more experienced, mature. best care SusxGLx
