Silence Poem by Meghan

Silence

Rating: 5.0

the silence hangs like leaden clouds
echoing down every hall
caging my mind
ricocheting throughout my head
streaming from my eyes
killing me slowly
the silence, this eternal deafening
growing stronger by the second
reigns supreme
the keeper of the key holds one primal scream
