Sunshine And Clouds Poem by Juan Olivarez

There are good days,
When the sun shines bright,
When the golden rays,
Are a welcome sight.

And there are bad days,
With the sky full of clouds.
When it doesn't pay,
To leave the house.

But through it all,
Don't slow your pace.
If you stumble and you fall,
Get up and stay in the race.

Don't let the sun,
Ever see you frown.
Get out and enjoy,
The sights and sounds.

Don't let the rain,
Mix with your tears.
Open your eyes,
And use your ears.

There will be good days, but bad ones too.
But just keep swinging,
Thats what you do.
Don't let those bad days, get to you.
