Sunshiny Surf Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Sunshiny Surf

Sunshiny surf,
Inundated my eyes.
I saw all the gold on Earth.
I saw all the pure water.

Sunshiny surf,
Spoke to me.
It told me it made fresh sounds,
And sound crashes all around.

Sunshiny surf,
Was the most beautiful part of my dream,
Except I couldn't figure out who made it,
Till I tilted my head upward.
