I didn't fall in love with you because I needed you
or that I wanted someone to love
or because I needed you to make me feel happy.
I fell in love with you because because
you showed me how it feels to be valued,
to put out love and get the same return,
and you made me feel
like what I've seen in the movies, the romantic ones
wherein you're hoping to be like that,
except that I never thought that I would experience it.
I fell in love with you because you make this fairytale,
feel like a reality.
