Surrender Ii Poem by Stephanie N Kjarbaek

Surrender Ii

Surrender II

What you couldn't work out in your mind
Eyes are seeing but your brain is blind
To all that is presented in front of you
But take the sod out of your own eye
Before you tell others that what is
Good for them isn't what you do
Well, what's good for them is good for you
Take the sod out of your own eye
Before others have to do it for you
And just don't criticize
You know you do it, too
People follow the leaders
Who represent what they don't speak about
You know that silence says more
And so do actions than your words ever word
Words of a hypocrite rejected but understood.
