Sustaining A Storm Poem by Varsha M

Sustaining A Storm

Rating: 5.0

Bed of roses
Is not what we
Often get in life.

Bouts of happiness
Bundled with loads of turmoils
Chase us all the time.

Sitting idle is never a moment
My upper story keep tract
Of unsolved bussiness till date.

Befallen by every crushing blow
The hurricane inflict on my tow
Persistence is becoming ever baffling show.

Streaks of joy in between
Wipes off the unbearable burden
Renewing the soul broken.

Deep rooted in values good
I look into the eyes of storm hard.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
When I saw this image a few days back, I wished to write a poem on its serenity of the Picture. Today this thought came in my mind and I tried this. This is a caudate sonnet.
