This poem, 'Swallows travel to and fro', has been sent to music by Bob Chilcott for the Coastal Sound International Choral Festival,2007, and was premiered on Wednesday,04 July 2007, at the closing gala concert at the Chandos Pattison Auditorium at the Pacific Academy, Surrey, BC under his baton with 500 children and youth on stage (www.coastalsoundfestival.com) . The passion and persuasion of the poem and the song was not only timely, but now even more timeless. The overwhelming excitement and enthusiasm of this premiere reflects the global awareness of the 18 choirs who attended this bienniel festival. I commend it to all who are sensitive to global citizenship (www.festaviva.ca) .
