Sweet Delight. Poem by Monkals Kalu

Sweet Delight.

Rating: 5.0

It feels like
I'm locked up
In mere illusions,

How do I get
Out of this bleak
That tormentedly
Swings my feelings.

Vividly I remember
The rare tranquility
That halted my worries
The day my eyes met yours.

Brown skin is her hue,
And Geraldine she hight.
Her eyes emits radiance
When her glasses are off.

Her endearing smile
Ceases my breath with
Seeming ease and bliss,
From our days in Canaan City.

Oh my everyday Delight!
I ask thee, 'why hast thou
So chosen to remain my
All day far fetched crush? '

I doubt if you have
An idea the burden I
Bear in my heart trying
To let go this hidden feelings.
I doubt if this fantasy will ever
Varnish, so long as I'm yet to figure
Out, just a reason for this inscrutably
Intense feelings for you, my sweet Delight.
