Sweet October Poem by Angel A. Lockwood

Sweet October

The month of October
Is the month of change
For my pet dog Rover
No more hot sticky nights.
No more bees, and flies swarming
andno more bug bites.
Just alot of colorful leaves in the yard
To play in, or it lay in,
just right for a play fight
The sun goes down early,
so when walkingoutdoors
After hours,
you must bring a form of light. But
That's alright,
For some, it's a littke trade, for
Now is the cool of fall
And many restful nights.
