Sweet Serendipity - Poem by Jay Ash

She wasn't planning to meet anybody
But it happened- as things do
when you forget you don't own
the stakes to your life- turns out
it was a pleasant surprise, sweet
serendipity brought things into place
and then she didn't feel quite so
flustered anymore.

Till the dice started rolling again,
that is.

An insightful tale of fate, luck, love, and loss; elegantly articulated, well encapsulated, and nicely penned in poetic diction with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Jay. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON. (Report) Reply
