Sweet Silk Water - Poem by Monica Mae Harrington

His eyes are blue like an ocean,
or a bright cloudless summer,
sky.

When I look into his eyes,
I could drown & I believe,
that he cares for me & he,
would never purposely,
hurt me.

His lips are as sweet,
as a spoon full of,
raw sugar.

When we kiss I could,
lose track of time & every,
touch of his lips against,
mine I fall more.

His touch is soft like silk,
against bare skin.

When he holds my hand,
it feels as if the energy,
of our love is passing,
threw us.
Don't kill me with your gifts.
