Sweetest Downfall Poem by Spirit Music Hope

Sweetest Downfall

She makes me breathless,
Speechless,
Thoughtless…
Forcing effortless intimidation,
Gracious sublimation,
Doubtless confusion.
In silence I stare at the image of divine tragedy,
Treasuring the moment of her with me,
Feeling the warmth of her soul so bare,
Intoxicated by the scent of her chaotic hair…
Delusions over extending eternity
Emerging realizations in a forbidden synchronicity,
Icy air stabbing cruelly -
Striking with force and dauntless ferocity.
Coiled emotions hidden under needed pretensions,
Not wanting to answer,
Not wanting to ask questions…
A kiss embarks the parting from this place,
As I stand and feel the warmth left in my face.
A mundane moment that leaves me disarray,
As she slowly moves away…
Perpetually away…
Savoring the magic in this tiny moment that I stole,
This is perhaps, my sweetest downfall.
