Sweetest Heart Poem by Bamukunda Hillary

Sweetest Heart

.
You are just a good heart
That i dont néed to keep.
I ought to give you out to the world.
And the world should have a share of you.
You are just sweet.
.
When millions say am lucky,
I tell them you are the most lucky.
When they shout am blessed,
I kneel to you who blessed me.
I won't auction you,
I will give you out to the world freely.
Even when you are gone,
Our memories shall stay.
The soul we share shall yield,
And I too shall be given the yield prizes
For being part of you.
Those who actually praise me
Don't know you.
The precious time you take to read,
The golden moments that you share the fullstops,
The random likes and comments,
The wow, nyc, I love this should all return to you.
The many times you criticize in silence!
.
I write because you read.
Not many would risk their eyes,
In the so called Literary desert,
Where many prefer rumors to facts,
Where Television is more attractive than novels,
Radios speak louder than journals,
Does that render the writer helpless?
May be if you are no more.
.
You are just a good heart,
That which inspires many pen ridden robots.
You never cease to surprise them,
You wonder at their creativity,
When you are actually a specimen.
Keep your eyes to art,
We shall get married daily,
Death won't really do us apart.
