As I walked down the street
Right to the point where
The work of nature mingled
With the desire of man
On display a fruit of nature
Having charms that were unassailable
She beckoned with a beauty
Irresistible to my manic appetite
Salivating enough to slake my thirst
Signs of hunger having earlier
Made themselves known
Swiftly I walked over
Payed her price and took her
Home to my abode
Neatly and with the swiftness
Of an eagle after its prey
I undid her yellow coat
And I dare say
It was indeed sweet
The banana I bought on the street
