Symphony Of The North Wind Poem by Sven Rhoads

Symphony Of The North Wind

Rating: 5.0

I hear the melody of my longing battle cry
To claw my way out from the grave where I died
To play my heart strings by the siren of my doom
Until we meet again my dear I will howl to stars and moon

Can you feel the cold
Yes, I know that I am old
But the fire's still burning
For hunger to live again
See those ravens fly
In the field where I lie
Will you raise me up again
And feed me a new life

I catch the notes of the north wind
As you sing that sweet lullaby
I close my eyes and soak in the breeze
While you flow so deep inside

Can you hear the wolves
And the pounding hooves
The enemy is coming
And I'll make my stand
Under the northern star
I'll never be too far
Whenever you come calling
I'll be right by your side

Watching the unfolding plan
Light bathes this autumn land
When you lift your eyes to see
I'll be there in victory

Soon we'll be united by the north wind
Intoxicated by the symphony
As I look at the stars in your eyes
You will feel warmth of the fire that calls your name
