Syria And Iraq Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Syria And Iraq

Syria and Iraq

As far as mind recalls
I was told and was taught:
"The wisest is mankind."

I sure doubt…

I have seen animals
The insects, worms of kinds
And greens and trees…

They are wise…

A cockroach saw the light
Jumped like bird to fly
Off counter to ground

As we see not normal…

That risk-take, brutal
Did indeed raise my thoughts:
"Are we wise? "

I see its duplicate or alike

Warriors if proud
Will commit suicide
Die before deadly fall.

Must avoid enemy

This is what scares me
I foresee the same in
Syria and Iraq…
