Tabby Cat Poem by Juan Olivarez

Tabby Cat

A little ball of furr,
Is sleeping in my hand.
A little tabby kitty, her,
Purring smoothly, as she can.

Squinting through one little eye,
And stretching all her feet.
And yawning in seeming reply,
To an offered kitty treat.

Just go ahead and dream,
The entire day away.
Time enough for you to preen,
Your furr another day.
