Table-Talk Portrait Poem by Raj Arumugam

Table-Talk Portrait

This lady talked for three hours,
she talked to, not with; she listened
awhile when the others managed to put in a word,
and nodded and went on speeding on her talk
going in circles like a toy train
on the same track in a room
