Mom I want to take a break
from my life,
as your little daughter
return to your life.
I want you, to run after me again
I want to dance with you, in the rain
I don't want to aim the sky
I don't want to go higher than high
Mom I want to take a break
from my life.
I loved the way you loved me always..
with no conditions applied.
I loved the way you cared for me..
even when, no one was on my side
Mom I want to take a break
from my life.
now I know how does it feels,
when I cook but there is no one to eat.
I have also learned how much it hurts..
when I want to say something,
but there is no one to listen!
I already know how courageous you were..
when you did everything for us
at times, you were not doing well.
Mom I want to take a break
from my life,
as your little daughter
return to your life.

Wow! I had to save this to my list of favorite poems before I could even comment! This is so very precious! I know I have also felt this way before. Sometimes I still do and my Mom has been gone for almost ten years now. There is truly nothing more perfect and wonderful then a Mother's love. My daughter who will be 20 at the end of August, has already made passing comments about sometimes wishing she could go back to when Mom (me!) took care of everything! You have worded this so perfectly! Love it!
