Take A Chance Poem by Eric Pennington

Take A Chance

Sometimes you have to give things a chance.
Get off the ground, dust the blood and dirt from your pants.
Though your heart may grow callused and sore,
Don't ever give up, but ask for more.
There will be a day when the perfect girl will show.
They say, when you ask for advice, you'll just know.
That she is the most amazingly beautiful person you've ever seen.
That she would be worth all of the blood, dirt, and sweat on your jeans.
So take a chance, don't do what people expect you to do.
Don't give up, because you then would be a fool.
She could be the most amazing thing to ever happen.
You will be overly grateful you took a chance then.
