Take a vow

No, mom no
it was stupidity on my part to go
along with the argument
and act like an absent-minded man
I did a big mistake
when didn't take your advice
before giving such a promise
and suddenly I got the news of your demise
I touched your feet
and openly felt
some guilty conscience
was I stupid at once?
I ached your heart
and allowed you to depart
with the grief and agony
I feel so sorry
I take a vow
and promise to go
along with your precise advice
and shall surprise everyone
I shall be the changed man
and act as perfectly human
with no grudge to anyone
but love to everyone
