Take It Gently Poem by Morhardt Carmen Mencita Monoi Angel

Take It Gently

take it gently when you want your feelings go
everything that comes at you
a shock a hurt a blow
take it well and hide
the turmoil of the pain within

give back good for evil
its the only way to win
never give yourself away
though smarting inwardly

all in time the truth comes out
and some day you will see
how you saved the situation
by standing still
curling tongue and temper
by an effort of the will
