Take It Off Poem by David Blake

Take It Off

A whisper so faint of what was a
life lived so long ago. The time
passed by like a gentle spring
breeze carrying news of what was
to be. Eroding now the very
essence of life and all that I am. I
ponder only for a moment and realize
it is better to let the past be.
