I wish to go with you so I can follow my dreams.
So that who I truly am can be seen.
I am not the little blind girl they should pity.
I am much bigger than that, and that is what they must see.

So take me with you and break the tether.
You and I both know I cannot stay here forever.
I am helpless here and do not feel like me,
So take me away so I can fulfill my destiny.
I am a bird that has never flown.
So teach me how to fly, then let us fly away and never come back home.
