Never been so content
You truly make me happy
More than you would ever know

I married once before
When was very young
After my divorce
Swore would never do again

Years later and happily single
No one had ever tempted me
Then suddenly out of nowhere
You appeared in front of me

All reservations vanished
Much to my surprise
Who is this handsome devil
With his mesmerising eyes?

Such a strong attraction
Has led my head astray
Previous convictions
Dissolved before my eyes

replaced by wild fantasy
Consuming all my thoughts
Common sense eludes me
Ready to take the plunge

Together for a while now
Laughing at the banter
My smile as wide as the jokers
At the nonsense that you talk

Unintentionally amusing
You laughed me to your bed
Passionately embracing me
Feeling so light in the head

Butterflies in my tummy
Leave behind preceding dread
Incredibly i'm now ready
To take the plunge with you

Marry me my darling
I am ready to commit
My heart is yours completely
It is time that we got hitched

And settle down
Walk down the aisle
Both pledge our vows

Amalgamate
