Taking Books From My Shelf - Poem by gershon hepner
TAKING BOOKS FROM MY SHELF
He who is taught only by himself
Will be by his own folly quickly mastered,
And he who takes books from my shelf
Without returning them is a great bastard.
Inspired by Ben Jonson’s statement:
He that is taught only by himself has a fool as master.
