Talk But Not To People Poem by Sumita Jetley

Talk But Not To People

Rating: 4.3

In moments of chatter, friendships fade,
Lost in noise, bonds slowly degrade.
Sonal and Meera, once so close,
Drifted apart, caught in life's prose.

Missed calls, forgotten birthdays,
Busy lives, in different ways.
But memories of laughter, mountain highs,
Brought tears of joy, no more goodbyes.

A visit, a hug, silent tears,
Hearts spoke, calming fears.
Quiet the noise, hear the heart,
That's when true friendships start.

In this moment, love found its way,
In silence, their hearts chose to stay.
New beginnings, old bonds renew,
Just one moment, love shines through.

Beautifully crafted. " In moments of chatter, friendships fade… ….. In silence, their hearts chose to stay.". The contrast is excellently captured in so few words

Yes, you are right; there will always be a response if there is proper reception of the communication/message, and response means everything between two human beings. Dennis
