Talked To The Sun Poem by Emmanuel Stone

Talked To The Sun

I have talked to the sun, baby
and it sang me a song

It was slow and monotonous
and it sang in tune with the stars

It sung of wisdom learned
from many years of observation

It sung of things near and far
that human mind could not comprehend

It sung of life and its meaning
and too of deaths unavoidable cycle

It sung of time and space
and the narrow human mind

And it sung of mysteries great
that only the stars have heard

Now I'd like to leave you, baby
I'm wandering off to a distand star

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Right now, this poem makes more sense to me than anything I can think of. It's too hard to explain, but I love it. I want to find a distant star.
