Talking In Silence Poem by Marvin Tordillos

Talking In Silence

Rating: 5.0

I am not a person good at speaking
I listen, participate and enjoy explaining
But not at crowds or any gathering
'Cause you'll only see me at the corner whispering

So there was this problem I met, I liked a girl
She's very adorable and precious as a pearl
She's cute and funny and sleeps in a curl
Those beautiful loving eyes that seems to kindle and sparkle

I always prepare a thousand words to form a speech
But whenever I'm in front of her I can't seem to speak
I can only smile and gesture, and maybe then she'll see
The image of her reflection that keeps hunting me

She may not me like I do
But girl let me tell you what I feel is true
No one's ever influenced me as deep as you do
Now I'm spinning in reality wondering 'Am I in heaven? Is this really true'

I've never meant to fall, but I'm not in control
I've never meet someone who has such an effect to a soul
And now I can't stop cause I've already started to roll
Like a soccer ball kicked, I can't stop 'til I reach my goal

Your presence is like a goddess in all her glory
Your presence enough to relieve me of all my worry
Please forgive this mortal for falling for your ethereal beauty
Even if you don't notice me, like a priest I'll continue following piously

Now I'm spinning in reality wondering 'Am I in heaven? Is this really true' And now I can't stop cause I've already started to roll Like a soccer ball kicked, I can't stop 'til I reach my goal like a priest I'll continue following piously Very nice comparison, love, infatuation, attraction, falling on head on heals in love. All wonderfully expressed dear poet. tony
