Talking Trees Poem by Emily Krauss

Talking Trees

Out in nature I go
Into the woods to explore,
Surrounded by air and dirt and lots and lots of trees.

I take in a deep breath,
Breathing in relaxation and fresh air,
And releasing stress and tension from my body.

My eyes look all around taking in the natural beauty that surrounds me.
I notice the trees in the forest all tall and strong looking.
I sense the trees can talk and hold communication amongst one another.
It makes me wonder what goes on in the minds of a tree.
It makes me wonder how do trees talk to each other.

So many questions and thoughts flowing through my brain like a flood on talking trees.
