Tamar - Poem by Edward Kofi Louis
Tamar, art, tar, mat, rat, arm, ram, at, mart;
Out of the home,
Like a farmer who goes out to sow;
Weeds, seeds, heeds, feeds!
With the puzzles of the land;
To the time of harvest,
Like a merchant looking for fine pearls.
