The poem is a tanka. In Japanese, ‘tan’ means short and ‘ka’ means poem. So tanka is a short poem. It is also called uta or waka. ‘wa’ means Japanese, ‘ka’ is poem. Anyway, tanka is Japanese short poem. It is unrhymed and in English translation it is in five line form and has units of five, seven, five, seven and seven syllables. It is the extended form of haiku.the brevity of the poem and the turn from the upper to the lower lines, which often signals a shift or expansion of subject matter.
I had visited the fort on 26 July 2015 with my wife and family friends while went to Varanasi.
