Taped Up Man Poem by Edward Wragg

Taped Up Man

Rating: 4.0

He's a taped up man who creeks when he walks
Brain full of colours he dreams when he talks

A taped up man who can't look beyond
He lingers in memories to which he's most fond

The taped up man with holes in his shoes
Concealed beyond eyeline they cover his blues

A taped up man who resists the day
But changes the ending with every stay

A phantom, a spirit, to some he is true
From a time and a moment to which you came through

The giver of help but receiver of none
The taped up man knows he'll someday be gone
