Poison Rain Poem by Edward Wragg

Poison Rain

Rating: 3.8

They say it's better to have loved than lost but I can't seem to lose you
You're riding tricycles around my mind in a circus just for two

A trace of you imbedded still remains inside my brain
But I forget about your smile when I drink this poison rain

A magic potion sent down from the gods is all the medicine I need
To stop my thoughts from spinning and to put my mind at ease
