Tate Modern Poem by Karen Honnor

Tate Modern

Rating: 4.5

Tate - striking, quite unusual place,
Standing proud, asuming a somewhat ungainly grace,
The outside deceptive, as you begin,
Hiding the treasures that lie within,
Colours and textures to shock, to enthrall,
Engaging the senses in it all,
Place for reflection, space to explore,
Place to return to, to contemplate more,
Many artists' creations lay there in wait,
A compelling experience that is - Tate.
