Taylor And Her President. Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

Taylor And Her President.

He said her words, they went too far,
An 'offender of God, ' beneath a distant star.
He thought her voice, a thing to quell,
A simple target, to cast a spell.

But Swift stood tall, with grace and might,
Her spirit shining, ever so bright
She didn't back down, she met his gaze,
And spoke her truth, in countless ways.

'You say I offend the Lord above? '
She asked him calmly, with steady love.
'What truly offends, I'll tell you now,
Taking from the sick, with a greedy bow.

Giving to the rich, with a lavish hand,
Ignoring the needs of this weary land.'
Her words, like music, found their way,
A powerful message, come what may.

He picked the wrong one, it became clear,
Her strong voice removed all of fear.
Taylor Swift, with truth so deep,
Showed the world the promises to keep.

The wooden podium held her weight,
Before the courtroom of debate;
In structured blue, she took her stand,
Beneath the banners of the land.

While solemn judges watched her face,
She filled the quiet hall with grace,
And pressed the mic to let them hear
The steady truth that casts out fear.

Taylor And Her President.
