Tea Time Showers Poem by Geet Manchanda

Tea Time Showers

Parched, Grizzled, Dejected,
I firmly stood,
On a barren land,
Under merciless sky,
Desperately longing for water,
I meandered hither thither,
A hot cup of tea in my hand,
The Almighty blessed my soul,
Graceful showers touched my red hand,
After years of armour,
I was safe, sound and-
Delighted,
For never more will my throat dry,
‘Cause of my ‘Tea Time Showers'!
