Teachers Who Made Life Beautiful Poem by Adhitiyaa Elango

Teachers Who Made Life Beautiful

You weren't like the soil on the ground;
Giving me access, to hold on to you for support.
But, you were like the fertilizers on the ground;
Helping me develop strong roots of education.

You weren't like the sun of my world;
Instructing me to rise and shine everyday.
But, you were like a spark in my heart;
Reminding me to grow better in every way.

You weren't like the map in an atlas;
Showing me how far I would have to travel.
But, you were like the inspiration to an achiever;
Making me take my first steps towards my goal.

You weren't like the lighthouse on the shore;
Reckoning to me, telling me where I should go.
But, you were like the rudder of my ship;
Guiding and steering the way I would want to go.

Thank you teachers, for your noble work........
