Tears - Poem by indira babbellapati

last night
i sat in front of
a heap of tears:
happy tears
unhappy tears
casual tears
unexpected tears
reflecting tears
night tears
spontaneous tears...

you know my friend
they all looked just the same
they all had that same tinge of salt
i could never tell
one from the other

    yes...very true ma'am...
this somewhat deals with a thing i believe, the unification of emotions. cannot distinguish between any two emotions in their extreme states.
everything is same at its highest form.
like...if we believe in big-bang theory, at the beginning, universe was a single dot, at infinite density.
who'd imagine all these things that have erupted, were just a single point!
    loved the poem ma'am,
    thank you.

    tears of joy
    tears of sorrow
    tears of pain
    very true the difference
    tear does not say
