Tears Poem by Peter Bishop

Tears

They splash upon the ground so dry
It was like it was waiting for me to cry.

I am tired of feeling this stupid way
Why should it be me who has to pay?

They run down my tired sad face
As if they were having an enjoyable race.

I want to drown in my own fears
Than in my salty crystal clear tears.

I can’t hold them back any longer
Soon I will feel so much younger.

I need your arms to pick me up and never put me back down
If you do I might as well be placed in the sea where I will drown.
